Getting started
Invoices and payments
Each service is paid for a month at a time. You get an invoice for each month, and nothing is charged by itself unless you turn automatic payments on.
Renewals #
About a week before a service's paid period ends, we create the invoice for its next month and email you. Pay it from the service's page in the Portal, or from the link in the email.
If an invoice is not paid by its due date the service is marked past due, and we email you the date and time by which it has to be paid. We email you again when 12 hours, 6 hours and 1 hour are left.
Warning
A service whose invoice is still unpaid 24 hours after its due date is deleted, with everything on it, and removed from your account. This cannot be undone. Download anything you want to keep before then, or turn on automatic payments so a renewal is never missed.
Automatic payments #
On a service's page you can turn on automatic payments, so each renewal is paid without you doing anything. You can turn them off again at any time, and cancelling a service stops them.
Finding your invoices #
- A service's invoices are on that service's page, under Billing.
- Every invoice has a View link showing who it was billed to, what it was for and how it was paid. You can print it or save it as a PDF from there.
- A statement for a service lists all of its invoices and payments together.
Account credit #
If you have credit on your account (from a referral, or given by us), you can put it towards an invoice on the payment page.
Something looks wrong #
If a charge or an invoice does not look right, open a support ticket and choose Billing as the topic.
